The Desert Cushion is made entirely from recycled, used plastic bottles and is perfect for outdoor living. This slim cushion is extremely durable and offers a texture reminiscent of virgin wool. It fits comfortably into the backrest of the Desert Chair, but can just as well be used alone. Using specialized technologies, the Desert series introduces a sustainable textile line made entirely from used plastic bottles. Each Desert Cushion – both the cover and the filling – consists of 48 bottles. This process gives you extremely durable designs while helping to clean up the oceans. Plastic rugs, cushions and mats may not sound like textiles that feel soft to the touch, but with the Desert series, you won't crave virgin wool anymore. These textiles are not only practical, easy to clean and suitable for outdoor use, but also feel just as comfortable as other designs.
