Inspired by the atmosphere of the room and the plant henbane. With Opaque Object. Martin Bergström wanted to combine the 400-year history and tradition of Skultuna. He examined the rich archives of Skultuna and found the history of the place and its surroundings and received an answer as to why King Charles IX chose this special place for brass production. The mysteries of the Iron Age tombs. the proximity to the Black River and deep forests. the history and traditions of the area inspired him to combine them with his own design and aesthetic. The archives led. among others. Martin Bergström to a meteorite that hit a few kilometres from Skultuna on 28 June 1876. Martin Bergström built all products in models that have since been digitally transmitted. The brand Skultuna was founded in 1607 by King Charles IX of Sweden as a brass foundry. Today, Skultuna is one of the oldest companies in the world and still purveyor to the Swedish royal family. For over 400 years.
